We hired RTR Builders to finish off some space in our basement. Troy was wonderful in making suggestions on different ways we could utilize the space. He constructed some custom built-ins under the staircase. The project was completed within a resonable time frame and we have a wonderful new space that the whole family enjoys.

RTR Builders: Dishonest, Sloppy, ...

Troy mismanaged our simple renovation project. His sloppy crew left us with an unfinished project, vastly over budget. Weekly, sometimes, daily requests for funds matched with dishonest billing made for a very uncomfortable, no-trust relationship. His crew was overheard discussing me (in a sexually crude manner) as well as badmouthing us and our financial position and employment. Supplies were consistently over and under ordered, Troy was unable to effectively communicate with his subs, the architect and the heating company. When problems arose, Troy would move his crew to another job site and leave us stranded, with no progress, for weeks at a time. RTR Builders did not meet my expectations professionally or my work quality or work ethic standards.
